The advantages of Ka band satellite internet over other technologies are :
Much smaller dish sizes due to the spot beams with high frequency.
VSAT terminal costs on Ka band are very low due to small dish sizes and hence very cheap on shipment as well.
Ka band sites can deliver rich multimedia very economically.
Recurring monthly service charges are as low as DSL/ADSL or fiber connectivity. In short low costs and high bandwidth !
Better coverage than DSL as satellite beams can reach areas where fiber connectivity can never reach.
Lower latencies making it even better for VPN and/or VoIP.
With its latest cutting edge Ka band technology Wafa assures it customers the best broadband speeds at unbelievable pricing! For details visit our
Ka band section.
However, the coverage on KA band is very limited around the world and is gradually extending as more and more Ka band satellite birds are going into the orbit.
Where there's no Ka band coverage then we prefer to provide connectivity over Ku and/or C band.
